The Pearlmaster is a luxurious take on the Datejust, which is a founding father of modern wristwatches and one of the most recognisable watches in the world. Whilst the Datejust represented Rolex as a company that made watches for everyday use, and the timepieces which built Rolex as a brand, the Pearlmaster emphasises Rolex’s development within the market and its reestablishment as a luxury watch brand. A Pearlmaster is always made from a precious metal, and the timepieces are always adorned with gems. In this instance the watch is made from white gold and has a mother of pearl dial which features applied white gold roman numerals. The bezel of the timepiece is fitted with 12 individually cut diamonds and the watch sits on a white gold Pearlmaster bracelet which is unique to this line of watches.
