Case : Very good vintage condition case that is showing light wear from age. The case has been polished in the past and remains in beautiful and honest condition, hallmarks on the back of the lugs are clear and present. Case numbers are clear and intact
Bracelet / Strap : Very good, matching and rare pink gold Rivited Oyster bracelet. The bracelet shows moderate wear from age and is tight and well preserved. The bracelet is long and will easily fit a full size men's wrist
Dial : Excellent pink dial with baton markers. The luminous material on the dial has aged dark.

Pink on Pink - The 1601 reference is perhaps one of the most iconic models from Rolex. It was crafted in stainless steel, two tone, yellow gold, pink gold and white gold over a production span of maybe 18 years. The iconic Oyster case paired with the fluted bezel probably represents the most ever sold Rolex to date. The rarity is really in the metal, the number of white gold and pink examples is small, we believe that the rarest 1601s are in pink gold. We have here a beautiful example from 1972 that has a dream configuration, 'Pink on Pink' and the color of the gold is really pink though it has not been polished previously. Hallmarks on the case and bracelet are crisp and fully intact. The watch is in beautiful overall condition and looks great on the wrist.
