For sale is a Rare Discontinued and all Original Rolex Datejust ‘Zebra’ Ref. 116199SANR in Solid 18k White Gold.
The Watch is from 2010 and comes complete with the Box, Rolex Warranty Card (Papers), Manual, Green Swing Tag and Rolex Service Card from May 2024. Having just been serviced by Rolex, the watch will be under manufacturers warranty until May 2026. The service stickers on the case are still intact.
This off-catalogue piece was produced in very limited numbers and was only offered to Rolexs’ VIP clients.
The Zebra is a great example of Rolex craftsmanship. It features a versatile 36mm white gold case making it perfectly suitable for both gents and ladies alike. Each lug is set with 24 brilliant cut diamonds, the bezel is set with 60 square cut black sapphires and finished with an additional 120 brilliant cut diamonds running around the side of the bezel.
The standout feature of this datejust which has earned it the ‘Zebra’ title is the dial. The Zebra Motif is created using brilliant cut diamonds for the white sections and black enamel for the black sections. The dial features an additional 10 larger brilliant cut diamonds for the hour markers. This bold and distinctive design sets it apart from more traditional Datejust models.
The white gold case comes fitted with a unique original black rubber strap with stingray inlays and 5 large brilliant cut diamonds set on each side. This strap is exclusively made for the ‘Zebra’ line and adds to the unique aesthetics of this show-stopper piece.
The strap is fitted with the original 18k white gold deployant clasp allowing you to keep the strap at your required size without having to adjust it each time it’s worn.
