Rolex “4609 White Gold” King Midas
Up for grabs is a very rare Rolex King Midas, produced circa 1975, given the reference 4609. The 4609 reference number specifically denotes an asymmetric case in white gold (rare its own regard) and with a factory diamond-set bezel. Many original King Midas were customized in the 70-80s with aftermarket diamonds, as presumably the retail price of a factory-set diamond bezel was much costlier than the standard fare. This Rolex King Midas is in good vintage condition, with a sharp case (maybe lightly polished once in the past), and original dial showing some light aging/patina. The bracelet will fit an approximate 7.25″ wrist.
