Its very minimalistic and extremely elegant design immediately conquered the public and became one of the most popular models on the market. The rounded rectangular shape case was designed with the influence of the “Golden Ratio”, discovered by ancient Greek mathematicians and whose “divine” proportions can be found in some of the most beautiful architectural monuments and artistic masterpieces throughout the centuries. Over the year many different versions of this model have been produced, featuring various dials and materials. Extremely elegant, this gem perfectly adorns any wrist. The integrated bracelet in white gold with a delicate woven-link decoration connects with the case decorated with a special set with 50 baguette-cut diamonds of approximately 7 carats and a sapphire crystal. The diamond bezel match perfectly with the baguette-diamond indexes for the hours resting on a very beautiful petrol-blue background dial and completed by its white-gold dauphine hands. Considering the price structure of Patek Philippe watches in the early 1970s, with diamond set integrated bracelet examples dominating the upper echelon, the example offered must be considered one of the most expensive models available from Patek Philippe at the time.
