The Patek Philippe Naviquartz clocks were originally meant for use on ships and yachts, but quickly became a status symbol for one’s desk. The Naviquartz III was designed specifically for home and office use and includes a presentation panel with its three-part mahogany case. Henri Stern had an early ref. 1215 engraved with his name and the date May 1, 1974. The Naviquartz III was made from 1972 through the mid-1980s.
Cal. 33 quartz movement, the gilt dial with Roman numerals, black moon-style hands, centre seconds, screw bezel, set within a gilt metal frame with power indication and a push button to stop the movement, in black metal case with screw-down back, all set within a hinged three-tier mahogany deck box, hinged gilt brass stand to the reverse.
