Stunning dress watch from Patek Philippe, the classic cushion shaped blue dial Ellipse Ref. 3566-1 from the 1970s.
The watch, housed in an 18 carat yellow gold ‘Florentine’ finishing case, remains in impeccable condition.
The blue sigma dial shows no discoloration or flaws of any kind with the white PP signature fully intact. White coated baton hour markers and matching hour/minute hands. The crystal shows one thin scratch between the 9 and 10 hour position.
The integrated Patek Philippe bracelet features the same attractive finishing, showing little to no signs of rubbing.
No nicks or bending and a three-position closing clasp for wrists with a circumference of 17.2cm to 17.9cm.
The hand wound cal. 175 is stamped with the worldly appreciated ‘Geneva Seal’, is set with 18 rubies and timed to 5 positions (heat and cold). Movement has been checked by our watchmaker and runs with fine accuracy.
Watch is accompanied by its original slick black leather box and a PP service receipt dating back to 2011.
