Patek Philippe 18K self-winding white gold ref. 5140G, made and sold in 2012
Patek Philippe introduced the ref. 5140 in 2006 exclusively in 18K white gold and it was followed in 2007 with the 18K yellow gold version. It was not until 2010 that the reference was made in platinum and 18K pink gold. As the noble successor of the ref. 3940, the ref. 5140G was well received on the marketplace and is just beginning to make the transition to a ‘modern vintage’ watch. The value window for acquisition at an attractive price remains open but beware — the secret is now out! This specimen example is ready to wear and complete with all its original accompaniments.
