Accompanying materials: Certificate of Origin (stamped & dated by Orologeria Svizzera), Certificate & Guarantee (dated by Orologeria Svizzera), Patek Philippe red cube box Condition: This Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700 is in very good overall condition. The case and lugs show light superficial marks throughout. Most notably, these marks are found on the polished and brushed areas of the bezel and bracelet, through only on the very surface of the material. The inner-case back correctly displays the watch’s unique serial number, as well as the reference number ‘3700/1’, below the manufacturer’s signature. The dial has aged to an attractive, even green shade, which falls correctly within the "Type 7" dial type. This is a well-documented characteristic of many of these dial types. The dial itself has been beautifully preserved, showing honest signs of age. The tritium lume on the white gold hour and minute hand have aged evenly to a warm hue, as have the lume on the baton hour markers. The additional materials include a box and Certificate of Origin, which is dated October 1981 and indicates that the watch was originally retailed in Florence, Italy. Additionally, the retailer's own original paperwork is included, matching the date on the _ Here is a beautiful example of the historically significant Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 3700/001A*. It features a 42mm stainless-steel case with a “Type 7” dial that was handmade at Stern Fréres. The dial has taken on a subtle and attractive greenish shade that is incidentally very of the moment. While separated by a few decades, this will appear familiar to those appreciative of Patek Philippe's reference 5711/1A-04 released in 2021 with an olive green dial.
