An early, extremely rare and highly important, possibly unique and previously unknown staybrite stainless steel chronograph wristwatch with sector dial retailed by Astrua Torino Signed Patek, Philippe & Co., Genève, retailed by Astrua Torino, ref. 530, movement no. 862’169, case no. 504’923, manufactured in 1938 Cal 13''' 130 mechanical movement, 23 jewels, silvered white sector dial, baton and Arabic numerals, railway fifth of a second combined with Arabic five minutes divisions, outer tachymetre scale graduated to 400 units per hour, two sunken subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minutes register, circular case, snap on back, two rectangular chronograph buttons in the crown, case, dial and movement signed by maker, dial signed Astrua Torino, case punched “staybrite” and with number 3 additionally, interior of bezel scratch numbered 923 36.5 mm. diam. , On lots marked with an + in the catalogue, VAT will be charged at 8% on both the premium as well as the hammer price.
