Stainless steel buckle branded "PPCo". With an Extract from the Patek Philippe's Archives confirming confirming the production of the present watch in 1964 and its subsequent sale on May 20, 1965 Origin: From the original owner's family since 1965 The reference 1463 was produced from the early 1940s until the end of the 1960s. It was the first screw-back chronograph wristwatch produced by Patek Philippe. Our copy, in a good state of preservation and well maintained by its owner throughout its life, has remained in the same family since its origin. If we refer to its year of manufacture in 1964, and its date of sale May 20, 1965, we can conclude that it is probably one of the last produced in the series, it wears a seven-digit case number with the famous "?FB?" inside the box. The hallmark of Geneva on the plate is the distinctive sign of the highest quality of movement in watchmaking achievements. Hallmark only found on a small number of pieces among those already sold at auction. A handful of watches of this quality have passed through international sales in recent years. This recent discovery on the French market is a unique opportunity to acquire the most legendary reference of vintage Patek Philippe chronographs in its rarest version, one of the very latest releases from the Manufacture. A trophy for collectors.
