It was the first Patek Philippe to use the LeCoultre based 28–255 calibre, at the time considered the best and flattest self-winding one. The reference was offered with various different dials, bezels and bracelets. The present lot features a flat bezel and always charming silvered sunburst dial. The indexes are very elegant with Roman numerals in black, similar in the style to the baton hands. The watch has a very well preserved yellow-gold case with straight thin lugs, snap on back and is further offered with its original box and certificate. Request more information
