The Ref. 5396, introduced in 2006, is an upgraded version of the time-and-date-only Ref. 5296 with an annual calendar. The case was inspired by the mid-20th century Calatrava, and the dial by another vintage model, Ref. 3448. The arrangement of the windows, indexes, and moon phases is retained, but the subdial used for the date display is now a 24-hour display, and the date is positioned at 6 o'clock.
