For your consideration is this rare and extremely captivating Patek Philippe Complications reference 5905/1A-001 timepiece in stainless steel that is absolutely packed with highly practical features. As incredible as they may be, not all Patek Philippe Complications timepieces are suitable for everyday wear. However, this particular version was recently released for the first time with an all-steel case and bracelet and an olive green sunburst dial, giving it a much more sporty look and making it perfect for all situations. The extensive list of features includes a sapphire display back, night/day indicator (visible above the number 30), annual calendar function with day/date/month indicators and flyback chronograph function with 60-minute counter and central chronograph hand. The watch is fitted on a neatly integrated stainless steel bracelet with fold-over clasp. Powering the watch is the calibre CH 28-520 QA 24H, a movement that is an incredible feat of engineering and watchmaking prowess. Despite being only 7.68mm thick, it has over 402 parts working in harmony. Movement features include bi-directional automatic winding via a 21k gold rotor, Gyromax balance and Spiromax hair spring. The chronograph function has a vertical disk-type clutch, allowing the chronograph to be run perpetually without any effect on other movement functions. In practice, this means the central chronograph hand can be used as a permanent running centre seconds display. To top if all off, the movement bears the Patek Philippe Seal, the industry-leading symbol of quality in both movement finishing and performance.
