"Ref. 5218-302" is an extremely rare model with only 32 pieces shipped in 1995.
Condition Report: This genuine Panerai is in excellent collector condition. Comes with original Panerai box and papers undated circa 1995. *This exceedingly rare Panerai Mare Nostrum is a very rare pre-vendome example of a Panerai (meaning before the formal acquisition of today's Richemont corporate ownership of Panerai) this piece was produced in coordination with Sylvester Stallone hence the moniker "Slytech" on the dial below the Panerai logo. Mr. Stallone was a passionate Panerai enthusiasts early on, and his signature is engraved on the caseback of this special watch. While Panerai produced 500 of these Mare Nostrum models only 32 of them are believed to be "Slytech" versions of the reference. This specific reference and is long out of production, sold out and unavailable via Panerai Authorized Points of Sale. (*Please note this model differs from the similar reference "5218-301A", which was reprinted in 1993 with a limited number of 597)
