The 44mm by 44mm square cushion-shaped two-body solid case, downturned lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished. The dial is black with large luminous Arabic numeral hour markers at the half-hours, and rounded baton hour indices around a perimeter white minute scale. There are two recessed black subsidiary dials with luminous lozenge-shaped/white markers, and "propeller" indicator hands, including a small constant running seconds register at 9 o'clock, and there is a hemispherical dial for the power reserve at the 5 o'clock position. A circular date aperture window is at 3 o'clock with a circular magnification lens, and it has pointed polished steel baton hour and minute hands with luminous inserts. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This power reserve function was developed by Officine Panerai's master watchmakers who created a transmission system connecting the barrel's winding spring and the movement's gear train with the power reserve indicator, which moves as the winding spring transmits the accumulated energy to the movement wheels.
