1993 was a key year in the history of Panerai and its most iconic watch, the Luminor. In that year, for the first time, the brand presented the Luminor and its variation the Luminor Marina to the public. Before then, Panerai watches had been available only to military forces. Known for their large cushion-shaped cases and innovative locking crown mechanism, they quickly caught the eye of watch enthusiasts and celebrities alike and have gone on to produce many variations of the classic design.
This Blu Mare version of the Luminor, reference PAM01085 was released in 2020 and is still currently in production. Set in the classic 44mm stainless steel cushion-shaped case with clean blue sunburst dial, featuring large Arabic numerals at 3/9/12, seconds sub-dial, stick hour markers all in Luminova and the famous “Officine Panerai” logo at 6 o’clock. Thanks to its patented crown lock system this Luminor has a water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft) and the dial protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass. Powered by the manually wound calibre P.6000 movement with a 3-day power reserve and protected by a closed screwdown caseback. Fitted on a blue alligator strap with cream stitching and secured by a trapezoidal tang buckle.
Originally purchased in November 2022 and in mint condition, this Panerai comes with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction/warranty booklet, retail barcodes, strap adjustment tool, blue rubber strap, original purchase receipt and international warranty card.
This watch is under it`s Panerai extended warranty until November 2030.
