Omega Genève Ref.166.054 Serial: 34++++++ Strap: OMEGA Genuine Bracelet BOX and PAPERS: No COMMENT COMMENT The Geneva Diver, with its charming light sports design typical of the 1970s, is a standout timepiece. At 11mm thick, the case is thinner compared to traditional divers, making it as manageable as a standard Seamaster. The dial features a silver sunray finish with wide, short indices characteristic of diver's watches, enhanced with black printing for improved visibility. The bidirectional rotating bezel adds to its functionality. It comes equipped with Omega's original 3-link solid bracelet. Powered by Cal.565, the movement offers convenient functionality with its two-stage crown for quick date adjustment and a power reserve of 48 hours. The case boasts a perfect proportion with sharp edges, indicating minimal usage and almost pristine condition. The faded bezel adds character with its varying shades. The dial is in mint condition, with no signs of discoloration, exuding a refreshing clarity. The printing on the indices, hands, and luminescent material retains its vibrant color. Having undergone disassembly and cleaning by our experts, it ensures reliable performance. Incorporating elements like a rotating bezel and crown guards into the design, the Geneva series within the dress line offers a blend of elegance and diver's watch aesthetics. It's rare to find one with the original bracelet, making this piece particularly desirable. BRAND The Geneva series, introduced in 1964 as an entry-level model among Omega's lineup including the Constellation, Seamaster, Speedmaster, and DeVille, set itself apart with significantly higher performance and price compared to domestically produced mechanical watches of its time. Known for its high design aesthetics, the Geneva series offers urban and stylish models for both men and women. As these models are no longer in production, they carry a unique charm that can only be experienced through antique timepieces.
