The present reference 2998-61 is an exceptional example and is an exceptional conditions.
Featuring all the correct elements of the 61, even the crystal was born with the watch (there is the first omega logo - straight base - on the center), look at the picture 11th.
Alpha hands, 500 units tachymetric bezel, straight lugs case, step dial with applied omega logo and 321 calibre.
The Dial it´s gorgeous!!! Shows no signs of aging or alterations and the hours markers and hands aged to a lovely and warm yellowish tone.
The case is beautifully preserved as well the caseback which still clearly shows the engraved iconic “Hippocampus”
A fantastic example for any omega collector looking to add a 2998 to their collection.
