We thank the Omega Museum for its kind collaboration. The Speedmaster reference 2998 is the successor to the first Speedmaster, mythical reference 2915. Our example in its first version 2998-1, is distinguished by its dial with an extraordinary natural patina, perfectly homogeneous, with also the much sought after tachymeter bezel graduated on "base 1000".
