Celebrating Apollo 11 landing on the moon in 1969, the first model of the Speedmaster was released. It has a distinctive look with an 18-karat yellow gold case, tachymeter in a burgundy color and button hands. It was a limited edition of 1,014 pieces. The back cover was engraved with a memorial seal and number. There was great care for details, such as the attachment of a silver-dedicated box inspired by the surface of the moon.
