Description
The fifth generation Speedmaster was launched in 1968, one year before OMEGA watches reached the moon in 1969. It was a long-selling model that lasted until 1996, the timing of which was changed from the Lemania-made Cal. 321 to Cal. 861. The lettering of the logo differs slightly depending on when it was manufactured, and you can roughly tell when it was manufactured by the degree of curvature of the "S" at the beginning of "Speedmaster" in the logo and whether the "r" at the end extends downward to the end of "falling r." It can be inferred that this particular model was manufactured in the 1970s.
