Omega Specialities 522.53.33.20.02.001

After the moon landings, Omega is best known for its association with the Olympic Games, which it has officially sponsored since 1952. What is less well known is that it also sponsors the Winter Games, and has created special edition watches to mark winter Olympics events since at least 1956. This watch, which was made in honour of Sochi 2014, is especially interesting because it is based on a historic piece found in the Omega museum, dating from 1915. The case is a remarkably elongated and very elegant tonneau shape, and features the Sochi Olympics logo engraved on the back, while the dial was made with the red, white and blue colours of the Russian flag. It is a limited run of only 100 pieces. This Omega Specialities 522.53.33.20.02.001 has a silver arabic dial and a leather strap. This Omega has undergone a thorough inspection of accuracy, functionality and condition at our Omega certified service centre to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been checked against our records to ensure authenticity. All our watches have a 24-month warranty for your peace of mind.
