Description: Stainless steel OMEGA Flightmaster Chronograph wristwatch circa 1973. Model reference 145.036, 43 mm x 53 mm stainless steel domed case, houses a mechanical manually-wound OMEGA calibre 911 movement with chronograph and second time zone functions. Grey dial with black sub-dials and internal adjustable bezel, index markers with neon chronograph hands, blue GMT hand and luminous baton reference hands. Tempered mineral crystal glass. Original stainless steel 1162 bracelet with 172 end-links. Watch only, presented in a fully restored and serviced condition by an OMEGA accredited watchmaker. The third generation of OMEGA's Flightmaster hit the catalogue in 1973 under the reference 145.036, It was sold as a innovative pilot’s watch with an independently adjustable second time-zone function and AM/PM indicator for pilots crossing the globe. This generation is referred to as the "911" and used a modified caliber 861 movement. . The running seconds indicator is visually similar to the Speedmaster, but that's no surprise, because functionally, the watches are quite similar. Also, like the Speedmaster, the Flightmaster has a space-faring connection. In much the same way the Speedmaster was favored by NASA, the Flightmaster was favored by ROS-COSMOS, the Soviet space agency. All watches are sold "As Is". Webb's make no guarantee of the future working order of the watch or battery life, and watches may need to be serviced to improve accuracy. Generally none of the watches have been tested for time keeping accuracy or running time, nor have any seals been tested on water-resistant watches. If they have been tested this is for indication purposes only and not guaranteed. Vintage watches may have been restored or repaired over the years, as such Webb's cannot guarantee that individual component parts are original or authentic.
