For sale is a beautiful and very rare Omega Cosmic Moonphase from 1952. It’s a triple date Moonphase in fully functional and newly serviced condition. Reference number 2471-8 with caliber number 381. Diameter 35mm without the crown.
The watch has been serviced in 2024 for approximately 737€ which included cleaning, oils, adjustment, control and two new springs. It was performed by the highly acknowledged specialist “Urmagerens Værksted” in Aarhus, Denmark. The service is covered by their warranty for two years, ending 10th of July 2026.
The watch also comes with an extract from the Omega Heritage Department, which shows their data on the watch. It was finished from production (or sold) July 2nd 1952. It was first sold in Pakistan. Please note that this watch has weekdays and months in English. Some of the similar watches for sale has other languages on the dial.
Considering the 72 years of age, it’s is a very beautiful watch in a rare and well kept condition. The dial has a small and barely visible dent (underneath the glass) around 10 o’ clock.
The watch comes with an Omega strap and buckle, which original but most likely not period correct.
Listed as "watch only", but does include the receipt from the recent service and the extract from the Omega archives .
This beautiful watch is a part of my private of my collection of vintage and luxury watches. I am a private seller, which means the watch is sold without guarantees and return options. Potential tax/customs on import also not included.
