Omega Constellation Ref.168.017 C line Case Serial: 33++++++ Strap: OMEGA Genuine Bracelet BOX and PAPERS: No COMMENT HIGHLIGHT C Line Case COMMENT The barrel-shaped C-line case, designed by Gerald Genta and commonly seen around 1970, imparts a sophisticated impression. In contrast to the later flat glass type, the early model's domed crystal provides a vintage taste. The flat mirror-finished smooth bezel, contrasting with the hairline-finished case, adds a sporty touch. The dial adopts a silver sunray finish, complemented by black-painted bar indices at the center position and dauphine hands for excellent legibility. The intricately cut calendar frame showcases meticulous attention to detail. The bracelet is Ref.1040 with Endlink 518. The case boasts excellent proportions, with beautifully preserved mirror-finished bevels on the lug edges. The dial is in a beautiful condition, and the paint on the indices and hands is perfect, showing no signs of wear. The watch has undergone disassembly and cleaning by our team, confirming a power reserve of 50 hours and a daily deviation of plus 9 seconds. It is ready for use immediately upon purchase. The Constellation, signifying a constellation of stars, is a gem that combines Omega's highest precision with automatic winding. Born in an era when "precision is the absolute value" prevailed before the development of quartz watches, it stands as the pinnacle of timepieces. The bracelet, ensuring comfortable wear, makes it perfect for daily use. BRAND The Constellation, introduced in 1952, remains one of Omega's flagship models to this day. It represents Omega's response to what a technically superior dress watch should be. The name "Constellation" signifies a constellation of stars, embodying the pursuit of luxury and high precision. It brings together Omega's accumulated technology since its founding, showcasing one of its key attractions—the exceptional accuracy. Its simple yet elegant and dignified design has earned high praise.
