They are sold ready to wear with a six-month guarantee of proper function. (Excluding damage due to water or improper handling.) Please also refer to the condition report in the description of each watch.
- INVOICE: With each order you will receive a proper company invoice with our valid tax number. Please remember taxes and duties from your destination country when shipping outside the European Union - this is your responsibility. Do not ask us to quote a lower value for the items being shipped, we must quote the full value for each shipment.
- INSURED SHIPPING: We ship via UPS Express fully insured and have not lost a package in the last 19 years with UPS Express. When shipping within the European Union, there are no import duties or other charges. When shipping outside the European Union, import duties may vary from country to country
In the United States, import duties are based on the individual values of the watch components: the movement, the case and the strap. According to our information, the US import duties on the watches we ship are approximately 3% of the total declared value of the watch.
UPS Express may collect import duties on behalf of US Customs upon delivery (if not prepaid already to chrono24.com). We will be happy to email you a PDF component breakdown of your purchased watches and an invoice upon request. You can contact US Customs to find out the estimated import duty. All of our shipments to the USA include a proper invoice and watch breakdown. Please understand that WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IMPORT DUTY CHARGES. Special note for USA customers:
Each shipment comes with a proper invoice for customs purposes, as well as a detailed breakdown of the watches (for export to the USA). US customs clearance normally takes place in either Louisville KY or New Jersey. In order to prepare for customs clearance as quickly as possible, the package with the paperwork is usually still in transit when the US Customs agent in charge is dealing with it. So the staff dealing with customs clearance do not have access to the package and can call and ask for the papers. Please assure them that everything they need to check for possible import duties is included in the shipment and they can call us.
