Description

Movado ref. 16151 in stainless steel Borgel case In 1905, brothers Leopold and Isidore Ditesheim moved production to new facilities and named their brand Movado, which means “always on the move” in Esperanto. The watches produced by the brothers left their mark in the 20th century with their success in chronometric and performance watchmaking competitions. Movado released water-resistant wristwatches as early as 1935, and by the 1960s was producing dive watches to compete with the era’s better-known offerings from brands such as Rolex or Omega. This model is a very elegant and superbly preserved time-only in stainless steel, featuring a François Borgel case and radium dial and hands. Its lugs are perfectly preserved and show their original facets while the dial has, thanks to the radium in hands, developped a nice patina, giving it a unique look. It also comes with a nicely finished bumper Movado caliber.- SHIPPING - We ship with FedEx Express, or Ferrari Logistics for high value pieces.
