MONTBLANC
1858 Geosphere CARBO₂ 0 Oxygen Limited Edition Automatic 43.5mm Titanium, Ceramic and Rubber Watch, Ref. No. 133303
LIMITED EDITION
World-renowned mountaineer Nimsdai Purja wore Montblanc's '1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen' watch while ascending Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen. This reference pays tribute to the legend with a CARBO₂ case - a material innovatively engineered using a process that "captures CO₂ from biogas production and mineral wastes from recycling factories". As a result, the case is totally devoid of oxygen itself, making it impervious to fogging and oxidization and resilient in extreme altitudes. This limited-edition timepiece is one of only 1,969 and features a variety of subdials and a 3D laser engraving at the back.
