Mery à Paris, No. 162, circa 1790. Very rare and fine 18 ct. gold quarter dumb repeating watch with special escapement., CHF 10,000 - 12,000 C. Double body, polished. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer small garland of flowers (very slightly restored on the border). Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Gilt brass full plate, caliber similar to that used by Robert Robin, going barrel passing through the back plate, secured by a bridge, typical Robin detentlever escapement, plain brass three armed balance, flat balance spring, polished steel end-piece. Repeating on the case by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 54mm.
