Jaeger-LeCoultre Blue Dial One of rarest, definitely “The King of Cool”, LeCoultre chronograph, Ref. E-2644, powered by Cal. Valjoux 72, made late 1960s. Features very unusual vibrant azure blue colour ”Vignette” dial and round indexes with blue inserts. Very few of these E-2644 are known and rarely surfaces to the public; as such, not much documentation exists for this particular dial design. Great condition, all original, the case appears to be never polished. The watch is paired with a vintage black leather strap to complete the look. C. Two-body, polished, screwed-down case back, lapidated lugs. D. Bicolor blue and black with applied steel round and blue inlay indexes, outer 1/5th seconds track and tachometer graduation to 1000 UPH, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 30-minute and 12- hour registers. Luminous steel baton hands. M. Cal. Valjoux 72, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, blued steel flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 14 mm. Watch is in overall great condition 8/10, running and ready to wear or gift! Condition Report: In fully working order. Very good vintage condition 8/10, minor surface scratches and scuffs through the age. No box, no papers.
