A very rare, charismatic and early stainless-steel pilot’s wristwatch of the famous Swiss watch brand IWC Schaffhausen, founded in Schaffhausen in 1868. Produced circa 1936 . Case made of stainless steel, diameter 38mm, solid-steel caseback stamped inside with the material info “Acier Staybrite Steel” and the case serial number, ribbed rotating bezel with inner triangular luminous radium index. Matte black dial, skeleton hands with patinated luminous radium compound , patinated luminous radium Arabic numerals. Caliber 83, hand-wound, antimagnetic. Functions – indication of time in hours, minutes and seconds.
