Here is a fabulous, all original IWC ultra slim dress watch from 1959. The silver dial has taken on a gentle and even patina and is in fine condition, with a radially brushed pattern and steel strip hour markers with the characteristic IWC spheres demarking the minutes. There is a scuff at around 9 o’clock. The slim baton hands are in very fine condition.
The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case is in very fine condition, with the original crown and short lugs and only light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a brushed finish and a few scratches and marks.
The original IWC Milanese bracelet is in very fine condition with a few small marks of wear. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details fits your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult.
Inside the watch, IWC’s high grade 401 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2023 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
