In hand made case of 14k yellow or white gold. Consumer price $150.00. Exceptionally rare, this model was named after Glenn Hammond Curtiss. Glenn Curtiss was a very important name in aeronautical history. In 1907, Glenn Curtiss broke the world speed record and was known as "The Fastest Man on Earth." In addition, he had the honor of receiving the first US Pilot License #1 and his company was the creator of the famous Curtiss engine, one of the most successful early aeronautical companies and maker of the famous Curtiss-Jenny bi-plane.
