Description

Hamilton Khaki Field H69449961 FREE UNUSED HODINKEE SUEDE LEATHER STRAP INCLUDED Purchased unworn in September 2021 with full box and warranty card. This rugged piece has seen occasional wear over the last 2 years, primarily out for small daily activities. Never exposed to water. I'm choosing to sell it because I don't wear it often and want it to find a home that will wear it more. I've had great fun with it during my time. It might catch the eye of people who know what watch it is, or appreciate its rugged look. It's been a fun discussion point to other enthusiests. Out of the khaki mechanical line, it's also one of the less common references. The colour is covert and blends well with many outfits. It captures its design (military/field) heritage very well with a brown PVD case, brown grainy dial and white numerals. In the right light, the dial appears to show a grainy texture which adds some unexpected complexity to an otherwise subtle piece. Each numeral has an applied triangular hour marker. These hour markers, and the hour+minute hands are lumed. Despite this being a field watch, the lume does a good job in low light conditions when needed. However, this is not a dive watch and will not compete with the lume on most dive watches. There are 3 minor signs of wear on this watch that bring it from 'very good' to 'good'. Sublte mark on PVD case above the 12 o'clock position position. Hard to notice during daily wear. Second is wear on the dark-green nato strap at the sizing hole it was worn at. Other holes are in tact. Last is the nato strap buckle which has a hairline scratch, similarly subtle and hard to notice when wearing. It's because of this that a Hodinkee dark brown suede leather strap was included in case the buyer can use it - however it is a different size to the original nato. This watch kept fantastic time with its movement (often within +/- 5-10 seconds/day) when regularly wound.
