Moser Streamliner is a stunning sports watch inspired by the unlikely source that is the railroad. Launched in very early 2020 and designed for the avid watchmaking enthusiast looking to escape the confines of the traditional blue-chip brands, the Streamliner is a watch that retains some of the aesthetic codes that are popular today, such as its integrated bracelet and angular design, but with a splash of Moser’s revered design capability. Indeed, the Streamliner features a stainless steel construction and an amazingly comfortable single-link integrated bracelet that is completely unlike anything else on the market. Debuting in 2022, the Streamliner Tourbillon Bucherer BLUE ref. 6804-1200 was released as a limited edition collection of 18 pieces to celebrate Moser and Bucherer’s long-lasting relationship as watchmaker and retailer. Showcasing Moser’s incredible work with dials, the ref. 6804-1200 features Moser’s signature fume effect which transforms its grey centre into a dark black towards the edges of the display that results in an incredible smoked aesthetic – Moser’s specialty. Topping off its stunning design are 60 baguette-cut sapphires that line its bezel and add Bucherer’s signature color into the mix and top off its incredible tourbillon display with a splash of luxury and exclusivity. Powered by the wonderfully robust automatic cal. HMC 804 movement that is displayed behind the Streamliner’s exhibition caseback and through the tourbillon aperture, the Streamliner unites everything that is desirable in the market today into one package that is without equal, particularly when you consider the craftsmanship that has been achieved by Moser on the Streamliner.
THE DIAL Combining Moser's signature unbranded aesthetic with their famous fumé effect, the ref. 6804-1200's grey display is a stunning example of Moser's famously exceptional work with dials, and its large tourbillon sets it apart as an exceptionally special piece.
THE CONSTRUCTION Fitted with a rare single-link bracelet design and a squared-off round case, the Streamliner wears on the wrist with a unique presence. Indeed, its 40mm stainless steel construction brings a sense of familiarity, but its profile is certainly not like anything else on the market - especially when its baguette-cut blue sapphire set bezel is taken into consideration.
