Grand Seiko often creates dials based on the theme of something in Iwate Prefecture, where the company manufactures its mechanical watches. This dial was created with the image of Genbikei Gorge on Iwate Prefecture's Iwai River. The mysterious and solemn atmosphere of Genbikei Gorge is expressed in the unique stamping and light green dial. The Ever Brilliant Steel, which is said to be 1.7 times stronger than ordinary stainless steel, is used, and it is more than robust enough for everyday use.
