For your consideration is this Grand Seiko Evolution 9 timepiece with the highly desirable “white birch” dial. Powering the watch is the in-house Hi-Beat automatic-winding calibre 9SA5. This Hi-Beat movement has a power-reserve of 80 hours and operates at 36,000 vph (5 Hz) helping ensure superb timekeeping accuracy. A quick-set date features at 3 o’clock. The full beauty of the movement is visible through the sapphire display caseback. As with all Grand Seiko watches, the finishing on this watch is truly a sight to behold thanks to the use of the brand's trademark Zaratsu polishing technique. The watch has a low centre of gravity coupled with wide, curved lugs that make the watch sit comfortably on wrists of all sizes.
