Iconic and rare Gerald Genta watch with a perpetual calendar and moon phases, in gold and dating back to the mid-1980s and in excellent aesthetic and working condition.

This watch is one of the models designed directly by the Master himself when he started his own manufacturing in the 1980s. This particular model belongs to one of the earliest series and is recognizable by its elegant octagonal case, a signature shape of Genta, with a single-piece middle case, unlike the later “Success” series, which featured a double middle case.
The watch features an automatic mechanical movement with an off-center rotor, running smoothly and keeping time accurately. It has been serviced and comes with a 6-month warranty.
The case, in 18kt gold, retains its classic shape typical of this model and is in excellent condition, showing only the slightest signs of wear. It measures 31.2 mm in diameter, not including the crown. The original crown and case back, also in gold, are in excellent condition, with numbers and markings still perfectly legible.
The beautiful original silver-tone dial features a complete perpetual calendar display and moon phases, in excellent condition, with no patina or signs of oxidation. The calendar is in Italian. The moon-phase display is made of Lapis Lazuli
The astronomical perpetual calendar functions work correctly, showing the day, date, month, moon phases, and leap year. There are corrector buttons on the case.
The watch comes with its original leather strap, an additional commercial leather strap, and an original gold buckle.
The sapphire crystal is in excellent condition, without any scratches.
