Amongst the big players of the tool watch industry in the mid to late 50s and early 60s, Favre-Leuba most notably designed the Bivouac, a barometer watch that was capable of measuring altitudes of up to 9000 meters.
This rare Favre-Leuba is similar in design to some of the early Speedmasters, in fact, proportionately the case is near identical. In this example, the facets are strong and thick and the case appears unpolished.
