Very sharp, unpolished case, original signed crown, original signed crystal, virtually perfect dial. The lume on the indexes did age to a slightly different color than on the dial, but as they both glow for about the same (short) amount of time in the dark, I'd guess they're both the original Tritium. The watch starts running as soon as it is picked up. Some slight resistance is felt when manually rewinding and setting time, which suggests a service with cleaning and oiling would be approriate, like for all vintage watches; however my watchmaker said he'd recommend just wearing it, as the cal 1500k movement also looks like new (unfortunately I have not been able to open the case myself, thus I have no image of the movement). Setting time works smoothly, as does the date quick-set. The Eterna-Matics 3000 series were a marvel of watchmaking at the time, their movements later were developped into the ETA 2892-A2, probably the top Swiss watch movement used by luxury brands like Omega, Breitling and IWC. In the mid-60s these were Eterna's top range of watches, and they were priced noticeably higher than the Centenaire line and even the Kontikis.
