It boasts a world time function, allowing you to know the time around the world by aligning the GMT hand, which completes one rotation in 24 hours, with the name of the current city. This particular model is a late version of Mark 1, featuring the distinctive dauphine-shaped minute hand and crescent-shaped GMT hand. In contrast to the earlier version where Saturn and ENICAR logos were combined, the later version has them separated vertically. Protected by the reliable Super Compressor case, it houses the Cal.AR1126 movement. While it shows small scratches from actual use, it remains in a non-interfered-with original condition. Everything from hands to bezel and crown remains untouched since its release. The bezel is in excellent condition, and the pointer is intact. The case has no signs of polishing, and the facets of the lugs are sharp. The black mirror dial has a vintage charm with a subtle luster. After disassembly and cleaning, the operational test confirmed a long power reserve of 42 hours. The Sherpa Guide with its jumbo case and world time feature exudes a powerful presence. The Mark 1 model with a well-preserved bezel is a rarity. Enicar collectors might find this a compelling addition to their collection.
