A fine and attractive sterling silver man’s Elgin large 16-S (52mm) hunting case pocket watch with multi color gold overlay circa 1905. Featuring a beautifully decorated floral case featuring a song bird motif and never engraved plaque. Powered by stem wind and stem set 17 jewel 3 bridge movement with gold set jewels, swan neck regulator, and beautifully damaskeened nickled plates. With white enamel dial with fine Roman figures and elegant moon style blued steel hands.
The case, dial, and movement are all in excellent condition. The case lid opens and closes securely by depressing the crown and is not over extended, opening to only 90 degrees. The case hinges are in fine condition and there are no dents or dings to the rim or the front and back cover. Truly a very fine and impressive condition vintage pocket watch for that special milestone birthday, anniversary, or graduation.
