This Squared cased Buckingham model was re-released in 2004. Montres Corum used ETA- caliber 7001 for this reinterpretation, the 7001 is a old caliber from Peseux, the PE 7001. Reinvented, and reimagined, the Corum Stainless steel 'Buckingham' from 2004, is delivered in super fine working condition, as it has been serviced and time tested at the time of posting, I can surmise the service came out fantastic! I am always excited by Swiss simplicity, the tech behind the ETA 7001 at time of production was the heavy usage of modern day production style lubricants like 'Lubrifar' being used literally all over the escapement and the barrel wheel insides. As a service professional, I have to really determine the best possible way to service this watch. I chose to go back to my roots, Peseux. I have done many 1000s of these caliber services, and I find in my repertoire the traditional Swiss watchmaking I learnt (Yes in Peseux!! :) anyways, after the cleanliness and tech- here is the picture of the Witschi Watch Expert, as proof of my servicing of the Corum 'Buckingham' Stainless steel retro Square timepiece. A healthy 300 degrees + and a deviation of only +/- 10 seconds per day can be seen from this pic. This dial is super special, it has French words in lieu of numerals. The dial is a stainless steel plate, and everything fits inside like Luxury does, it is superbly machined, the custom fit is extraordinary! Pls do ask me for additional pics. I took a lot of pics during the casing up. The case was not polished at time of service, but I did hand polish the tang buckle, it is fresh and clean. The strap is a genuine Alligator, and if you are buying from the USA, the strap will have to be shipped out separately (NO Exceptions here) The Alligator/ Croco strap is 24 mm wide, and 16 mm at the buckle. The strap is pre-owned. Please note the superb finishing on the Peseux 7001 (ETA modern version) it has Cotes-de-Geneve stripes, anglage, and also fabulous Glucydur balance wheel components, thereby giving it it's superb accuracy. The watch serviced now, should last 5-6 year's timeWe are a registered business in B.C. and our B/N details are on the homepage.
