Cartier Tortue W1580045

Inspired by the shell of a turtle, Tortue was manufactured in 1912. A uniquely curved, tonneau-shaped case borrows motifs from an actual turtle. This model is equipped with a perpetual calendar function with a first in-house automatic winding movement for Cartier. The sub-dials at the 12 o’clock position indicate the year and month; a retrograde indicator shows the days of the week while the Pointer Date using a spade hand gives the date.
