The Cartier Tortue was launched in 2006 as part of the Collection Privee Cartier Paris and made only in precious metals. This particular piece is cased in Platinum and bears the silvered signature guilloche dial signed Cartier Paris. The blued Breguet style hands are elegant and at the same time very masculine. The beautifully decorated mechanical caliber is visible through the sapphire display case back. The platinum examples of the CPCP are becoming more and more important for collectors and finding good examples is a tough task. Extremely good condition with box and papers, service history and purchase history.
