De prachtige Cartier Tank Basculante 2390 die we hier hebben dateert uit de jaren '90. Het horloge is een van de eerdere toevoegingen aan de Tank-collectie van Cartier. Dit model werd voor het eerst geïntroduceerd in 1933. Het horloge heeft een door Cartier aangepast, zeer gewild handmatig opgewonden uurwerk. De stalen kast van 25 x 38 mm verkeert, naast enkele lichte gebruikerssporen die vrijwel niet zichtbaar en storend zijn, nog steeds in uitstekende staat met scherpe randen en originele afwerkingen. De witte guilloché wijzerplaat is voorzien van de iconische zwarte Romeinse cijfers van Cartier. Het bekende blauwe cabochon saffiertje bevindt zich op de 12-uurs positie en wordt gebruikt om de kast 360 graden te draaien. Hierdoor wordt, net als bij het bekende JLC Reverso-horloge, het glas beschermd.

The beautiful Cartier Tank Basculante 2390 we have here dates from the 1990s. The watch is one of the earlier additions to Cartier’s Tank collection. This model was first introduced in 1933. The watch features a Cartier-modified, highly sought-after manual winding movement. The stainless steel case, measuring 25 x 38 mm, is still in excellent condition with sharp edges and original finishes, aside from some light user marks that are barely visible and not intrusive. The white guilloché dial is adorned with Cartier’s iconic black Roman numerals. The signature blue cabochon sapphire at the 12 o'clock position is used to rotate the case 360 degrees, protecting the glass in a manner similar to the renowned JLC Reverso watch.
