Bulgari, 41.5mm Special Edition, Octo All Blacks "100 Club" automatic wristwatch. In 2015 this watch was originally presented to All Black, Keven Mealamu # AB1026. Bulgari, an official sponsor to the All Blacks, honoured the longest-serving All Black players and some management team (those officiated at over 100 test matches) by presenting them with a special commemorative watch. This special timepiece is aptly named the Special Edition, Octo All Blacks 100 Club watch. Each watch is personalised on the smoked sapphire crystal case-back, bearing the recipients initials and their All Blacks number. It also features the silver fern leaf motif, and honours ‘The Originals’ – the very first All Blacks team, whose 1905 tour of Europe and North America saw them win 34 out of 35 matches. The 41.5mm case is with a diamond like Carbon (DLC) coating that pays homage to the black jersey and is presented on a black crocodile strap with pin buckle. The Anthracite dial is that of a Maori mask, imprinted like a tattoo on the background, designed by Maori carver Tana Salzmann. The case houses a mechanical self-winding BVL 193 calibre movement with approximately 50-hour power reserve. This special edition timepiece comes together with a box shaped like a rugby ball bearing Keven Mealamu's imprinted signature and AB1026. This was gifted via Keven Mealamu to the current vendor. This is the utimate addition for the true watch collector and rugby enthusiast. Presented in its near new condition and in full working order.
