Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Ceramic Chronograph GMT Nuclear Option for Revolution
Launched in 2021 as a collaborative project between Bvlgari and The Rake and Revolution, the Octo Finissimo Nuclear Option is a distinguished timepiece that grabs attention no matter what. Made of ceramic for the very first time and featuring a 43mm-wide construction that highlights the Octo’s unique bracelet and case design, the Nuclear Option's sandblasted exterior offers a matte finish that draws attention to the real party piece, its dial. Boasting a chronograph and GMT function, the Nuclear Option's dial houses three subdials dedicated to its two eponymous functions. However, the dial's true genius comes from its almost white pale green surface. Painted entirely with Super-LumiNova, the Nuclear Option's dial glows a bright shade of green in the darkness that illuminates its functions and black dial furniture like the backlight on a phone. A genuinely striking effect, the Nuclear Option deserves its nickname and stands proud as an unusual watch within a collection that is famed for its already-unique design. THE DIAL While its dial appears white in normal lighting conditions, the Nuclear Option's dial lives up to its name in the dark when its entire surface turns a bright shade of green thanks to its abundance of green Super-Luminova.
THE CONSTRUCTION Buoyed by Bulgari's constant attempts to create the world's thinnest watches in their respective categories, the Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT measures an incredibly thin 7mm tall. Additionally, this is the first time the Octo Finissimo has been made of ceramic.
