The Tradition was designed as a tribute to the "Souscription" sold in 1796.
It has a fan-shaped retrograde seconds hand at 10 o'clock, and the rotor peeking through the sapphire caseback was designed from the weight of the "Perpetual" self-winding pocket watch invented by Breguet in 1780.
